Junior Signature Experience Communication Specialist

Core Responsibility

To manage and enhance all hiker-facing communication and content touchpoints, ensuring a consistent, warm, and accurate experience aligned with The Pekoe Trail brand and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily communication with hikers across all platforms including email, phone, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and other messaging channels.
  • Respond to inquiries from hiker social media groups and online communities in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a structured Q&A and response log to ensure consistent and accurate information sharing.
  • Manage and update The Pekoe Trail social media channels with relevant and engaging content.
  • Create, upload, and maintain blog posts and website content related to hiker experiences and trail updates.
  • Ensure all communication reflects the tone, values, and positioning of The Pekoe Trail.
  • Support the communication needs of signature experiences and special collaborations.
  • Assist in improving the hiker journey by identifying communication gaps and suggesting enhancements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to align messaging and updates.

Key Deliverables

  • Daily response management and resolution of hiker inquiries.
  • Updated and organised communication log system.
  • Regular content updates for social media platforms.
  • Monthly blog posts or website content updates.
  • Standardised FAQ and communication templates.
  • Weekly summary of communication trends, common queries, and feedback.
  • Support material for signature experiences such as tour briefs, information packs, and content summaries.
