With the generous support of WSO2, The Pekoe Trail Organisation is proud to implement a Pre-School and Community Restroom Facility at the Kew Estate Community Children’s Centre marking an important milestone under our Community Impact Initiative.
The project strengthens early childhood development within the estate community while also providing essential restroom facilities for The Pekoe Trail hikers, demonstrating how responsible tourism can create meaningful, shared value for communities and visitors alike.

This initiative, along Stage 8 of the trail, was made possible with the generous support of WSO2 and is:
- Operated by Plantation Rural Education Development Organisation (PREDO)
- In collaboration with Kew Estate – Madulsima Plantations PLC
- Implemented by The Pekoe Trail Organisation (TPTO)
In partnership with organisations like WSO2, we continue to drive community upliftment, support education, and create long term impact beyond the hike.
